However, these bicycle lights give flexibility in use as the system allows you to switch between 12-and 20-watt halogen beams with a remote switch. If you need a very bright light to light your way in the middle of the night, you have the option to use both bulbs together. The NiteRider Classic bicycle lights operate by using NiMH battery cells which give the highest capacity for lighting.
The next in line in terms of technology is the MiNewt’s ultra-bright Luxeon LED which provides an excellent light without having the usual concentric rings or halos. It comes with a range of features including high, low and flashing modes, a battery life of 3 to 6 hours, and a low-battery indicator incorporated in the headlamp and battery case. It is very convenient because it can be mounted to any size handlebars.
NiteRider’s UltraFazer Max, on the other hand, features a 1-watt ultra-bright Luxeon LED, high, low and flashing modes to increase daytime safety as well as a watertight case. With its efficient reflector, it provides great visibility without having rings and halos on the reflected light. In addition, it can easily be attached on any size of handlebars too.
Finally, the Universal Taillight of NiteRider uses 16 LEDs and maximizes your area of visibility to 360 degrees. It uses less than a watt of power which means that there is no impact on headlight run times.
